Amy L. Robin's personal and professional adventures, including a 2,500-mile hike on the Continental Divide Trail, two epic journeys along the Mississippi River, and many others, inform her fearless and immersive approach to storytelling. Amy was part of the record-breaking Mississippi Speed Record team, serving alongside her husband Alex not only as documentarians but also as part of the expedition support team, helping the project run smoothly while capturing every moment on film. Their loyal sidekicks, Minnow and Echo, accompany them everywhere and are integral members of the documentarian team. Amy is a seasoned photographer and adventure filmmaker with over 20 years of experience behind the camera. Her work spans commercial media, wedding media, documentaries, and other productions. Along with Alex Maier, her creative ventures include Wide Range Multimedia, LLC (the parent company overseeing all their media and commercial work), Wilderness Mindset (their adventure and documentary platform), A & A Weddings (focused on love stories through film and photography), and Up North Films (preserving historical documentaries and culture).

Through Wilderness Mindset, Amy explores the intersection of nature, adventure, and self-reflection, bringing her storytelling expertise to projects like MSR: AEA while inspiring audiences to engage with their own natural world. Most of their documentaries are self-funded, reflecting her commitment to taking creative leaps of faith in pursuit of meaningful stories. Returning for a second collaboration with Scott Miller (and many other team members) underscores the trust, experience, and expertise Amy brings to every adventure film.
